Cape Town, the second largest city in South Africa


Cape Town is considered the capital of the Western Cape Province, located in the south western corner of the country near the Cape of Good Hope.

The summer months are from December to February. Those days are usually hot, but humidity is very low, so this air is not uncomfortable. And you will hear the voice of a gun fired every day at noon - from Monday to Saturday you can go and watch the ceremony that takes place before the actual shooting, and you can then see the shooting.

Robben Island  is located off the coast of Cape Town, and this place was used in the days of apartheid for the detention of political prisoners, people like Nelson Mandela and  Walter Sisulu. You will be able to take a bus to make a tour around the island, and you can meet one there for prison officials to help you for a tour of the prison area. The island itself has stunning views and wonderful, and you can see the African penguins in this round. Stop the tour bus to allow you to take a set of pictures, and buy a snack. Tickets can be purchased online or over the phone.
