The National Park of Similan Islands in southern Thailand



The National Park of Similan Islands lands in southern Thailand, 50 km to the west of Khao Lak. It is considered the best dive location in Thailand.

Nature landscapes
Nine granite islands is a perfect picture of paradise, and covered many of the tropical forests and beaches filled with processed white sands. As if this were not enough, you will see many of the wonderful scenery beneath the surface of the water, are even more exciting than that and a lot of people think that this is the best dive site in Thailand. International Journal of Diving witness has to be one of the ten most beautiful places in the world.


Plants and animals
There is a huge diversity in the types of fish. Visibility under water is the best you'll find in Thailand. You'll see lots of colorful fish such as Younfich, and (Nemo), and if you're lucky you'll see fish such as manta or even a whale shark. Coral reefs in the region has decreased to a large extent a victim of coral stared in 2010, despite the fact that the fish still make diving and snorkeling worthwhile.

Climate
The peak season is from December to April, the best time to visit is the month of March, when the wind is calm and clear water.


There are many dive trips in that island, custom boats usually starts in 4 days and 4 nights and many trips are available Luxor, with operators who have large boats and who can use smaller boats top speed.

You will find that there is an entrance fee to the national park starts from 400 baht per passenger and daily usage fees starting from 200 baht per diver per day. Most boats do not include these list prices. And are to be paid to the person your diver before the flight.
